Senior Network Contracting Specialist

Job Summary

Overseeing the development and management of insurance networks, the full-time Senior Network Contracting Specialist will focus on improving affordability and quality outcomes while managing provider relationships and negotiation strategies in the MidAtlantic region.

Key responsibilities

• Manages contract negotiations with large physician groups and ancillary providers to meet growth demands
• Builds and nurtures relationships with providers to support local market strategies and optimize network performance
• Collaborates cross-functionally to manage provider compensation, pricing development, and resolve elevated provider service complaints

Required qualifications

• Existing relationships with major health systems and large physician groups within the region
• Experience with physician group and ancillary provider contracting and negotiations
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing key provider relationships, including senior executives
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with 7+ years in provider contracting or health insurance
• Intimate understanding of complex integrated delivery systems and managed care business models
