Senior Network Deployment Engineer

Job Summary

To support the scaling of a global network, the full-time Senior Network Deployment Engineer will manage the end-to-end provisioning of network services and oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and project execution for Point-of-Presence (PoP) deployments in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the provisioning of network services, including wavelengths, Ethernet, and IP transit
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and manage site readiness schedules for PoP deployments
• Document circuit details and support circuit testing and troubleshooting during turn-up

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in network engineering, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in network deployment and procurement
• Knowledge of transport technologies such as DWDM, Ethernet, and MPLS
• Experience in negotiating and leasing space/power for PoPs
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into requests for proposal (RFPs) and carrier service orders
