Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer I to join their network engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical design and engineering for network-related tools and systems
• Collaborate with software engineers to develop and maintain network automation and monitoring platforms
• Develop and contribute to open source projects related to network and platform engineering

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Go or Python
• Expertise with Linux and Juniper hardware (e.g., MX, QFX, EX, SRX)
• Experience with large-scale datacenter networks and global backbone networks
• Familiarity with layer-2 and -3 protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and MPLS
