Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Backbone Engineer to enhance and optimize their global backbone network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects to upgrade and optimize the global backbone network
- Build scripts and templates for network functions and device maintenance
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network strategy and mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- At least 9+ years of experience in backbone or large enterprise network support
- Proven track record with Juniper hardware/software and complex scripting
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack and Internet routing/peering
- Expertise in routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and ISIS
- Experience with traffic engineering protocols such as MPLS and RSVP
