Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design and sustainment of secure network environments for a Department of Defense enterprise initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure architectures for secure connectivity across various environments
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and ensure optimized throughput and reliability
• Collaborate with teams to ensure network compliance with DoD standards and conduct periodic health checks and risk assessments

Required Qualifications

• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering for enterprise-scale federal or defense environments
• Expertise in routing and switching protocols and firewall management
• Familiarity with DoD network compliance standards and experience with cloud-hybrid networks preferred
