Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data center team, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will configure, install, support, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring reliable global network services while working remotely with occasional site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, support, and maintenance of network hardware including routers, firewalls, and switches
• Drive operational excellence by managing network incidents, performing preventative maintenance, and resolving outages
• Implement approved network designs and standards in collaboration with Network Architecture while maintaining documentation

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex, mixed-vendor carrier or data center network environment
• Deep technical knowledge of BGP, FHRP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, and modern data center fabrics like EVPN and VXLAN
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, Group Based Policy, and traffic analysis tools
• Ability to work within a 24/7 support model, including weekends and holidays, with willingness to visit data center sites as needed
