Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Managed Security Services team, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will implement, manage, and maintain client firewalls and switches, while also mentoring SOC resources and responding to cybersecurity incidents, with occasional after-hours support required.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and implement new firewalls and network infrastructure independently
• Monitor and triage cybersecurity incidents from client firewalls and provide remote support for related issues
• Teach and mentor SOC team members on network-related topics and document security incident use cases

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in firewall, networking, and security-related technologies
• Proficiency with various firewalls, particularly Fortinet or Cisco
• Experience administering network services such as DNS, DHCP, and NTP
• Certifications in cybersecurity, including CCENT, CCNA, NSE4, or similar
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and remediate firewall and network issues
