Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the organization's network infrastructure, the remote full-time Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop network architecture, including LAN/WAN infrastructure and routing protocols
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices and implement security measures
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for efficiency

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in a relevant field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in configuring and installing routers, switches, and firewalls
• Experience with Internet TCP/IP protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and VPNs
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex and secure LANs/WANs
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco (CCNP or higher) or equivalent preferred
