Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a large enterprise customer, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will deliver secure network design and implementation services across on-premises, data center, and cloud environments, while collaborating with project management and IT teams, with remote work options and occasional on-site support in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network solutions for enterprise environments
• Collaborate with project management and IT departments to ensure seamless integration and performance
• Contribute to additional projects as they arise within a multi-year strategic initiative

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with network design and architecture in enterprise environments
• CCIE or PCNSE certifications preferred
• Expertise in internet routing protocols and network security concepts
• Hands-on experience with VPNs and firewall configuration
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance for travel between locations
