Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and support network infrastructure for cloud hosting, ensuring the maintenance and operation of LAN/MAN/WAN and data networks.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain data center and WAN network infrastructure, participating in design discussions
• Coordinate maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, while troubleshooting network issues
• Guide less experienced team members and contribute to team objectives while adhering to departmental best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• CCNP or equivalent demonstrated experience; CCIE preferred
• 4+ years of hands-on professional IT network engineering experience focused on cloud services
• Advanced experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools (e.g., Solarwinds, Wireshark)
• Intermediate knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and firewall policy design
