Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To design, implement, and manage a secure and high-performing enterprise network infrastructure, the remote Senior Network Engineer will focus on Layer 3 and Layer 2 networking, advanced firewall management, and security operations using Palo Alto Networks and Cisco Meraki technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Configure and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls and administer Panorama for policy standardization and device management
• Manage and analyze logs using Cortex Data Lake and Sumo Logic, developing dashboards and alerts for network performance and security incidents

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco Meraki switching
• Strong hands-on experience with Panorama centralized management and log analytics tools
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, NAT, and VPN technologies
• Knowledge of network segmentation and security best practices
