Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Providing advanced technical support and network maintenance, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will troubleshoot issues, manage vendor relationships, and oversee repair coordination while working independently in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve network issues
• Coordinate with the NCC and TAC to ensure overall network health and manage complex repair activities
• Lead technicians and manage field dispatch for maintenance and service repairs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7 years in a service provider role
• Optical vendor certifications preferred (Ciena/Infinera/Nokia)
• Experience with Ciena 6500/Infinera/Alcatel PSS-32/16 and DWDM/SONET configurations
• Technical Project Management experience
