Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the reliability and scalability of core network infrastructure, the remote Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and optimize IP routing environments while evaluating new technologies to support network performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support core IP routing infrastructure and related network services
• Provide Tier IV support for complex network issues and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve service challenges
• Evaluate and implement network security enhancements and infrastructure improvements

Required qualifications

• CCNP certification or equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise or service provider networks
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or core network operations
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Strong expertise in IP routing, carrier-grade networking, and ISP network operations
• Experience designing and supporting IPv6 network environments
