Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Network Engineer will develop and implement network engineering solutions, focusing on next-generation networking systems and automation across cloud, LAN, WAN, and wireless platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create network engineering solutions and designs, ensuring they align with larger system requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and roadmaps for continuous improvement of network systems
• Introduce Software Defined Networking (SDN) models and automation solutions while supporting operations teams with incident resolution

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with vendor-agnostic Next Gen Software Defined Networking platforms and Network Automation
• Strong knowledge of data center and campus networking technologies, including Cisco and Palo Alto systems
• CCNP Certification is required
• Experience in creating technology roadmaps and detailed engineering solution designs
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and firewall management
