Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Data Center Services team, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will manage the configuration and support of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst infrastructure, oversee Software Defined Networking elements, and provide operational support in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and configure data center infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus and Catalyst systems
• Support and administer Software Defined Networking (SDN) elements, such as VXLAN and VMware NSX
• Engage in problem determination, resolution, and root cause analysis while participating in Tier-3 support escalation and on-call rotation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in an IT Engineering discipline or related IT Engineering function
• Experience with data center networking support and troubleshooting spine/leaf, NDFC, NSX, or VMware
• Knowledge of various networking components, including Cisco Routers, Switches, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF
• Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and extensive background in complex network design and implementation
