Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid environment, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will ensure the reliability and performance of the access and transport network, focusing on OLT and ONT testing, validation, and certification, while providing Tier 4 operational support for complex network incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Network Architecture teams to validate and influence access network designs for scalability and reliability
• Lead configuration standards for OLTs and ONTs, ensuring alignment with architectural intent and operational requirements
• Plan and execute OLT and ONT testing, including performance benchmarking and feature certification

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture roles, with Tier 3 or Tier 4 support experience
• Expert-level knowledge of fiber access networks and PON technologies such as GPON and XGS-PON
• Strong experience with OLT and ONT platforms, including testing and operational support
• Advanced understanding of IP networking concepts, including routing, switching, and network security fundamentals
