Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Pacific Region remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Network Engineer will resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN issues, manage network communications equipment, and provide recommendations for network design and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex network issues and manage installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment
• Serve as the regional point of contact for network-related matters and manage configuration and communications interconnections
• Advise on network design, deployment, and standardization to support the MHS mission

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level III or equivalent
• DoD Health Care Information Systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field plus five years of relevant experience; or a technical/vocational school certification plus ten years of experience
• CCNP and CISSP certifications required
