Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contracted basis, the Senior Network Engineer will resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN issues, manage network communications equipment, and provide recommendations for network design and implementation to support the MHS mission.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve larger and complex network issues and manage installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment
• Serve as the regional point of contact for network issues and manage configuration and communications interconnection matters
• Advise on LAN/WLAN/WAN design, deployment, and standardization to support organizational objectives

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level III or equivalent
• DoD Health Care Information Systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline plus five years of relevant experience; or equivalent technical/vocational training plus ten years of experience
• CCNP and CISSP certifications required
