Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the deployment of advanced public safety solutions, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will manage network planning, engineering, and architecture processes remotely, ensuring high availability and security of voice solutions while maintaining technical documentation and providing support for incidents and service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in network planning, engineering, and architecture processes while ensuring 99.999% uptime
• Deploy and configure network devices based on designs and standards, maximizing network performance and availability
• Implement and enforce network security protocols, monitoring for vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on geographically dispersed networks
• 5+ years of network security experience, including firewalls and threat mitigation tools
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, routing, and switching platforms
• Desirable certifications: Cisco CCNP, CCIE, Security, or SDWAN; Azure, GCP, or VMware certification
• Understanding of security standards such as NIST, CIS, or NENA
