Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical and escalation support, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will monitor network and security infrastructure operations, manage AWS cloud resources, and implement corrective actions, with the flexibility to work remotely from any US location.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations of network and security infrastructure and provide technical support
• Manage AWS cloud resources, including EC2 instances, VPCs, and RDS, while implementing network recovery procedures
• Automate deployments using tools like Ansible and Jenkins, and create Cloud Formation Templates for AWS environments

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience
• At least 3 years of experience in AWS cloud resource management and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins for configuration management and deployment
• Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket and Git, including handling merges and conflicts
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and CI/CD pipelines
