Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the reliability and performance of access and transport networks, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will focus on Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and Optical Network Terminal (ONT) testing, validation, and certification while providing Tier 4 operational support for complex network incidents in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Network Architecture teams to validate and influence access network designs for scalability and reliability
• Develop network test scripts and automate validation processes, integrating testing through APIs and supporting CI/CD practices
• Lead configuration standards for OLTs and ONTs, ensuring alignment with architectural intent and operational requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture roles, with a focus on Tier 3 or Tier 4 support
• Expert-level knowledge of fiber access networks and Passive Optical Network (PON) technologies
• Strong experience with OLT and ONT platforms, including testing, validation, and operational support
• Proficiency in Python development, API integration, and network test automation frameworks
