Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design of custom enterprise network solutions, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will work remotely from Colorado or Illinois, focusing on troubleshooting, implementing, and administering network systems while providing Tier IV Help Desk escalation support and ensuring compliance with network configuration and security standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of custom network solutions while mentoring junior network engineers
• Provide Tier IV escalation support for customer network issues, troubleshooting, and recommending performance enhancements
• Analyze customer bandwidth requirements and develop capacity planning models to meet future needs

Required qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex enterprise networks
• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Strong knowledge of various networking technologies and vendor equipment, including Cisco and Fortinet
• Experience with compliance requirements such as PCI DSS and HIPAA is a plus
