Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Telecommunications / Network Engineer to work remotely, responsible for researching complex network inventories, advising on technical requirements, and ensuring seamless service transitions for federal customers.
Key responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex network inventories and configurations for approximately 40 distinct customer data networks
- Assist in drafting Performance Work Statements (PWS) for network vendor proposals
- Evaluate technical solutions from carriers and advise on feasibility and performance trade-offs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 4 years in specialized network engineering
- Active or interim Tier 1 (T1/NACI) security clearance
- Experience with wide area network (WAN) transport and access structures
- Ability to support engineering deliverables during core business hours and flexible cutover windows
