Senior Network Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and support of network security solutions, the full-time Senior Network Firewall Engineer will manage firewall policies, monitor network health, and ensure compliance with industry standards in a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scalable and secure firewall solutions across a distributed enterprise network, aligning with security requirements and best practices
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure network health, capacity planning, and proactive issue resolution
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network security issues, driving continuous improvement and vendor governance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network security with a focus on firewall management and enterprise-scale solutions
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure network architectures
• Proficient in network automation tools and scripting, with experience integrating modern solutions with traditional firewalls
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Netscaler platforms
• Preferred certifications include Cisco Security Specialist, Palo Alto Networks, and CompTIA Security+
