Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Building and operating robust network infrastructure, the full-time Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will design and manage public and private networks for a remote organization, focusing on high-performance Linux networking, BGP routing, and automation using AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, validate, and operate public and private networks across the platform and compute clusters
- Automate network provisioning, configuration, validation, monitoring, and recovery using AI technologies
- Manage ASNs, public IP prefixes, and private address space, including BGP routing and private peering
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating production network infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Linux networking, including routing tables, VLANs, and firewalling
- Deep understanding of BGP, including route selection and troubleshooting
- Experience with VXLAN overlay networks and IPsec or WireGuard
- Proficiency in network configuration automation tools like Ansible
