Senior Network Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Network Maintenance Engineer responsible for managing network maintenance activities and ensuring minimal service disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule network maintenance activities, assessing customer impact and issuing notifications
• Evaluate change impacts and risks in collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure effective communication and adherence to maintenance processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (11 years of related experience required)
• Minimum of seven years of experience in change management or network operations in the telecom industry
• Expertise in ITIL frameworks and telecom network technologies (e.g., IP/MPLS, LTE/5G)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and trouble ticketing software
• Expert knowledge of fiber optic network equipment and architectures, including SONET and DWDM
