Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading firewall administration and modernization, the contract-to-hire Senior Network Security Engineer will manage Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies while ensuring secure connectivity across corporate, distribution, and retail sites, with remote work during the contract period based in Springfield, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls
• Support dynamic routing, BGP, and Layer 2 networking
• Lead incident response and produce audit evidence for PCI and other sensitive data controls

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in Network Engineering
• Technical depth with Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong background in dynamic routing, BGP, and Layer 2 networking
• Hands-on experience with Zero Trust security architectures
• Proficiency with LAN, Ethernet, VPN, IPSec, and L3 firewalls
