Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for network security best practices, including DDoS, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Provide technical security direction for projects and enhance DDoS detection and mitigation capabilities
• Manage network security protocols and integrate new security products while performing vulnerability scanning

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network security engineering
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF
• Deep knowledge of DDoS attack vectors and mitigation strategies
• Experience with security management tools and cloud service providers like AWS and GCP
• Proven track record in leading security initiatives independently
