Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Network Security Engineer is a full-time remote position responsible for managing and maintaining network security systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with various teams to implement security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, develop, and implement security solutions and standards following industry best practices
• Maintain and operate toolsets and services that support network security operations in production environments
• Perform security audits and testing; evaluate system security configurations for compliance with policies and best practices

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience with network security processes, policies, and solutions
• Extensive technical experience with firewalls, particularly Palo Alto and PANW cloud services
• Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security technologies
• Experience with scripting to automate tasks, especially in Python
• Experience building and maintaining network security solutions in a large enterprise environment
