Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Network Security Engineer who will design, implement, and operate security controls to protect the enterprise network across on-prem and cloud environments, focusing on advanced threat detection, firewall policy design, and vulnerability remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage network security solutions including next-gen firewalls and secure network segmentation
• Monitor network traffic and security telemetry to detect anomalies and manage firewall policies for high availability
• Perform vulnerability assessments and participate in the incident response lifecycle with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years in network security engineering or a closely related role
• Proven expertise with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms
• Strong foundation in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and secure network protocols
• Experience with Azure/AWS networking and security controls
