Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the U.S. Census Bureau program, the full-time Senior Network Security Engineer will design, implement, and improve enterprise network security services, focusing on firewall engineering, VPN services, and edge security in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards
• Administer VPN services and support multi-factor authentication systems for secure remote access
• Implement and manage network security controls across cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring compliance with security frameworks

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network security engineering or related fields
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewall technologies
• Experience with VPN services and RSA SecurID or equivalent MFA solutions
• Working knowledge of cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments
• Ability to develop clear technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams
