Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading technical initiatives within a remote environment, the full-time Senior Network Security and Automation Engineer with Python will leverage extensive network security expertise to develop, implement, and optimize features while collaborating with cross-functional teams on automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the successful delivery of technical initiatives within the team
• Develop and implement new features while enhancing existing functionalities based on network security principles
• Partner with product owners to translate strategic objectives into actionable backlog items and engage with end users to address feature requests

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in network security and automation
• Strong understanding of network security principles and hands-on experience with firewalls
• Proficient in Python for network automation beyond simple scripting
• Networking/security vendor certification at minimum Professional level (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, NSE4+)
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
