Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure secure and scalable network services, the full-time Senior Network Security Engineer will design, implement, and operate network security solutions across cloud environments and remote-user access while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support Google Cloud Platform network-security solutions, including firewall policies and VPC architecture
• Manage the firewall-policy lifecycle and lead hardware refreshes and software upgrades with minimal business impact
• Serve as an escalation resource for major network incidents and support operations teams with complex troubleshooting

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of network security experience in complex enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP and BGP
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform networking and security, including VPCs and Cloud VPN
• Proficiency in troubleshooting GlobalProtect and Prisma Access issues using logs and performance metrics
