Senior Network Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working as an individual contributor within the Infrastructure Systems and Services group, the full-time Senior Network Software Engineer will design and develop network service automation packages using Python while collaborating with network engineers and building automation pipelines in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain network service automation packages and workflows using Python and related tooling
• Collaborate on platform initiatives and infrastructure services, contributing to service design reviews and documentation
• Build and maintain automation tooling, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure-as-code practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or network automation
• 2+ years of experience using Python as a primary development language
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative software development practices
