Senior Network Test Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the critical technical test gate for Mobile Network Operators (MNO), the full-time Senior Network Test Engineer will develop and execute a comprehensive IREG test strategy, automate testing processes, and analyze network traces to ensure seamless connectivity in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive IREG test strategy, including pass/fail metrics and official sign-off processes for partner MNOs
- Execute end-to-end roaming testing, focusing on network registration, authentication, and data paths
- Build and maintain an automation test harness for consistent execution of GSMA and Skylo-specific routing scenarios
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in roaming validation, mobile core operations, or telecommunications network testing
- Strong understanding of Diameter routing and SS7/MAP concepts, including roaming authentication flows
- Advanced protocol troubleshooting skills with experience in reading Wireshark traces
- Proven experience designing automated telecommunications testing frameworks using Python or similar languages
- Fluency in handling IR.21/RAEX data profiles, PLMN structures, and IMSI records
