Senior NHP Procurement Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for strategic sourcing and procurement, the full-time Senior NHP Procurement Manager will manage vendor relationships, oversee inventory systems, and ensure compliance with regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure non-human primates (NHPs) from domestic and international suppliers
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance while forecasting supply and mitigating procurement risks
• Ensure compliance with AWA, USDA, GLP, and IACUC requirements while coordinating logistics and study scheduling

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Animal Science, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years in procurement, inventory, or preclinical operations, with a preference for experience with laboratory animals
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with GLP, AWA, USDA, and IACUC standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and write advanced reports
