Senior Node.js Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Node.js Software Engineer with expertise in backend development using Node.js and experience in Angular and/or React to work remotely, where they will write scalable software, negotiate solutions with stakeholders, and enhance infrastructure for microservices.

Key responsibilities:

• Write and maintain scalable enterprise-quality software while understanding client business requirements
• Negotiate appropriate solutions with multiple stakeholders and drive feature engineering to improve algorithm performance
• Set up, configure, and maintain infrastructure to support JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript-based microservices

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a production environment with proven knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Expert level experience with Node.js and familiarity with AWS components such as Lambdas and API Gateway
• Good knowledge of Docker, shell scripting, and proficiency using Git, JIRA, and Jenkins
• Experience in media ad sales is a plus
