Senior Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Senior Non QM Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually underwrite mortgage loan transactions to company and investor credit guidelines
• Perform quality control audits of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Collaborate with internal staff and clients to clear purchase/funding eligibility conditions

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of underwriting experience, with 3-4 years in Non-QM products
• Hands-on Non-QM underwriting experience, including DSCR and Bank Statement qualifications
• Ability to manually calculate income for complex self-employed borrower profiles
• Proficiency in Encompass for managing workflows and documentation
• Strong understanding of Non-QM guidelines and risk layering
