Senior Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

Responsible for underwriting Non-QM products, the full-time Senior Non-QM Underwriter will manage a pipeline of loans while ensuring compliance and accuracy, serving as the main contact for post-close credit conditions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite Non-QM products and maintain an underwriting pipeline of new loans and resubmissions
• Evaluate loan files for accuracy and compliance with investor and internal guidelines
• Communicate with operations, sales, and business partners to provide high levels of customer service

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Experience with Non-QM post-close credit and manual underwriting
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Encompass LOS experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
