Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Nutrition Researcher to work remotely in a full-time salaried position, responsible for directing significant funding towards cost-effective nutrition interventions, conducting rigorous research, and shaping grantmaking decisions that impact global health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead research agendas related to nutrition, focusing on critical questions that inform grantmaking decisions
• Design and oversee impact evaluations for new and existing programs, guiding researchers from question scoping to results interpretation
• Build the evidence base in new programmatic areas by synthesizing existing research and commissioning new studies

Required qualifications

• A quantitatively oriented advanced degree in epidemiology, statistics, economics, public health, nutrition, or related fields
• Substantial professional experience relevant to nutrition, including roles in research, program design, or grantmaking
• Ability to critically assess and synthesize empirical evidence and cost-effectiveness models
• Experience in designing and implementing impact evaluations or similar research methodologies
• Strong interest in global health and nutrition, with a commitment to evidence-based decision-making
