Job Summary
Providing high-level administrative and office management support, the full-time Senior Office Management Specialist will manage schedules, handle complex travel arrangements, and serve as a liaison for senior officials within the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain schedules for senior NEA officials, coordinating appointments and travel arrangements
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership
- Serve as a liaison between senior officials and other Department offices, ensuring effective communication and information flow
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with the Department of State or similar agency
- Strong knowledge of Department of State operations and office management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
- Ability to manage complex executive schedules and competing priorities with discretion and tact
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI is required for this position
