Senior OLAP Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior OLAP Performance Engineer responsible for optimizing the performance and scalability of the enterprise OLAP and cube-based analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain OLAP/cube analytics platform performance through query tuning and optimization
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks by evaluating query execution patterns and resource utilization
• Implement monitoring for cube performance and define baseline metrics for performance analysis

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience with OLAP/cube technologies such as Kyvos, SSAS, or similar platforms
• Expert-level proficiency in MDX and strong SQL skills for analyzing data structures
• Deep experience in OLAP cube design, including hierarchies, partitions, and caching strategies
• Experience with distributed environments and cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required
