Senior OpenShift Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Senior OpenShift Engineer for a fully remote contract position, who will manage daily platform operations, including onboarding applications, performing upgrades, and supporting deployment automation in Red Hat OpenShift 4.x environments.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new applications to the OpenShift platform
- Perform platform upgrades and patching activities
- Manage and patch OpenShift operators while supporting storage and deployment automation technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Extensive experience administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift 4.x environments
- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments
- Experience with Portworx storage administration and support
- Ability to support occasional after-hours maintenance activities
