Senior OpenText Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior OpenText Developer will support the IRS Notices project by conducting software development and testing, including migrating from xPression to Exstream and redesigning IRS notices.
Key responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis to develop technical specifications and anticipate integration considerations
- Design and implement complex software components while resolving defects and enhancing system functionality
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior developers, while producing necessary documentation and supporting troubleshooting efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with OpenText xPression and Exstream, including installation, configuration, and code development
- Experience creating various types of templates, such as letters and tax forms
- Proficiency in coding and translating functional specifications into technical specifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance
