Job Summary

Experienced logistics professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Operations Agent, responsible for managing import shipments, coordinating vendor relations, and optimizing financial performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the lifecycle management of shipments, including scheduling, routing, and tracking for both domestic and international cargo
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors, ensuring cost control and margin optimization at the shipment level
• Design and implement standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of transportation and/or freight forwarding experience
• Expertise in rating and routing freight, including knowledge of government freight operations
• Familiarity with international regulations and compliance procedures in air/ocean freight
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
