Senior Operations Research Developer

Job Summary

To support innovative supply chain solutions, the full-time Senior Operations Research Developer will investigate novel techniques, translate real-world use cases into mathematical models, and lead the design and implementation of these models while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and combine class-leading heuristics with optimization techniques
• Translate supply chain management use cases into mathematical models and lead their design and implementation
• Define test strategies and develop comprehensive test plans, including automated test scripts for various testing types

Required qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with a track record of delivering commercial software
• Proficiency in C++ and knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns
• Experience creating mathematical models for real-world optimization problems and familiarity with commercial solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX)
• Ability to design and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
