Senior Optical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Optical Design Engineer, Full Time Fully Remote - US.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, simulation, tolerancing, and optimization of complex optical systems
• Translate customer specifications into detailed design requirements and collaborate across teams for system integration
• Guide validation of designs via lab testing and mentor junior optical engineers

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in optical design and engineering
• High proficiency with optical design and simulation tools
• Strong fundamentals in geometrical and physical optics design methodology
• Experience in design documentation and cross-functional collaboration
