Senior Optimization Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Optimization Engineer to build advanced optimization systems for last-mile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement optimization models for large-scale vehicle routing and scheduling problems
• Translate business requirements into mathematical models and build production-grade optimization services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve routing efficiency and system performance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in optimization or mathematical modeling
• Strong background in combinatorial optimization techniques, including CP-SAT and MILP
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or .NET with strong software engineering fundamentals
• MSc or PhD in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
