Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Job Summary

Leading the management of critical data systems, the full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator will design, implement, and optimize high availability and disaster recovery solutions while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support for Oracle databases, including configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies, including Oracle RAC and SQL Server Always On
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive performance improvements and support data-driven initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• 5+ years of DBA experience in enterprise, 24/7 environments; 8+ years preferred for lead candidates
• Strong experience with both Oracle and SQL Server in high-volume production environments
• Hands-on experience with RAC, Data Guard, Always On, clustering, and failover strategies
• OCP and/or Microsoft SQL Server/Azure certifications preferred
