Senior Oracle Database Engineer
Job Summary
To provide Oracle database platform expertise within a Department of Defense Enterprise IT Operations environment, the remote Senior Oracle Database Engineer will manage databases, develop technical specifications, and perform routine maintenance in a multi-tier application architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, modify, test, and manage Oracle databases within the enterprise environment
- Utilize the Exadata platform for building, refining, upgrading, and patching databases
- Oversee team work queues and planning to ensure efficient database operations
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of overall database experience, preferably in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle 19c
- Security+ Certification is required
- Active Secret Clearance
